I ran out of blogging and video-making steam this spring and just stopped doing everything. But I’ve actually been sewing up a storm all fall… I have some catching up to do! I’m going to make a Gallery here and start stocking it with pictures from the fall’s projects, instead of trying to do a blog post for each project. At the pace I’m going, there’s simply no time for that!
This summer I discovered “Discovery Fabrics” in Campbell River and started ordering activewear fabric from them, particularly Polartec wools and fleeces. I’ve also begun downloading digital patterns and doing the whole print-and-tape thing, which drives me bananas but it’s nice to branch out from the Big 4 pattern companies. So far I’ve been doing a lot of Jalie Patterns and Greenstyle Creations patterns.
