YYJ Spring Sewists Meetup

We’re doing it again! Come and meet other (primarily) garment sewists and swap fabric, notions, patterns, and stories!

Please prep any materials for the swap by labelling with fabric type, length, width, and your Instagram ID or other social media coordinates if you have them.

You can also bring me-made clothes you’re not wearing to let them find a new home.

Bring a (covered) beverage if you wish!
There will be door prizes and lots of fun chatter.

NEW FEATURE: Sewists Bingo! When you register and send your ticket fee, please send an email to the same email address (below) with a short little factoid about you and your sewing life. I’m going to make up ‘bingo cards’ with these factoids and they’ll be used at the event as an icebreaker… find the people at the event who match up with the factoids! Think of slightly unusual or uncommon things BUT nothing that you wouldn’t want others to know. Examples might be “my favourite fabric to sew is VELVET” or “I have made a wedding gown for myself”.
