I’m doing a sort of “sewing advent calendar”… sewing something different every day of December. Right now I’m just picking out basically anything that’ll be easy to complete in one day, especially because work’s frankly insane right now. After Christmas I might slow down a bit and take on a major project but I am really enjoying this speed-sewing thing for a bit. Plus, I bought a LOT of fabric at Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, and I need to trim down my stash quite a lot.

…. and then almost a year went by. I started this whole thing and ended up sewing 28 garments in 26 days and got totally overwhelmed. I stopped sewing for a couple of weeks entirely, then I did some really frivolous projects (pink leopard print faux fur circus tailcoat, for example). Then I got into sewing bras and activewear. And I completely neglected this blog for 11 months. Welllll whaddya gonna do about it eh?
